Retrieval of tropospheric ozone from satellite measurements, UV, aerosol and cloud properties, atmospheric constituents, global trends.
Jerry Ziemke came to NASA Goddard in 1994 as an NRC research fellow specializing in atmospheric composition and dynamics. His Ph.D is in Physics from Iowa State University. Since coming to Goddard he has collaborated with many scientists both from Goddard and elsewhere on a large range of topics but primarily relating to atmospheric ozone. Since 1996 his primary research has been satellite retrieval of tropospheric ozone. Since 2005 he has been Principal Investigator of tropospheric ozone for the US OMI Science Team.
