In early November, Cecile Rousseaux (610.1/USRA) received a NASA Team Excellence Award as part of the Satellite Needs Assessment Team for outstanding teamwork in developing creative solutions to the Earth observation needs of the federal government in response to the Satellite Needs Working Group. Dr. Rousseaux led the team that reviewed and determined what the next generation of satellites should be for ocean properties. The group’s report was submitted for decision-makers to use in deciding where to apply funds in terms of engineering development in preparation for the aforementioned satellite missions. GESTAR congratulates her on this recognition!
