Carine Nourieh serves as Senior Manager for Contracts and Grants providing primarily subcontract, subaward, and proposal support to meet Program requirements. In this capacity, she is responsible for the full life cycle of subcontracting activities associated with the GESTAR Cooperative Agreement and Grants. She issues requests for proposals, analyzes and evaluates cost proposals and maintains subcontracts and subawards to ensure that they meet the solicitation requirements and USRA policies.
Carine brings over 10 years of experience in Finance and Contract Management and demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced diversified environment. Prior to joining USRA, she worked as a Financial, Grants and Contracts Analyst with JHPIEGO (an affiliate to Johns Hopkins University) managing USAID Maternal and Child Survival Program. Carine also worked as a Project Associate for the United Nations Development Programmes (UNDP) and an Administration Associate with the National Resource Governance Institute, an independent nonprofit organization dedicated to improving countries' governance over their natural resources.
Carine has a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (graduated with honors) from the American University of Beirut.
