At the GMAO Peer Awards Ceremony held on November 18, 2021, two GESTAR scientists received recognition.

Dr. Allison Collow (610.1/USRA) received a 2021 Collaboration Award: "To recognize your many years of chairing the GMAO Science Theme Meeting committee, and for being instrumental in identifying topics, managing schedules, and encouraging GMAO members to participate. Your efforts foster collaboration and cohesiveness among GMAO members."

Dr. Brad Weir (610.1/USRA) received a 2021 Scientific Achievement Award: "To recognize your outstanding contribution toward advancing NASA's ability to monitor atmospheric carbon dioxide, most notably during the COVID-19 pandemic."
