On September 25, 2018, Richard Damoah received a 2018 Morgan Instructional Innovator of the Year Award for his contribution to innovation, which has helped further economic development and entrepreneurship at Morgan State University. This inaugural awards ceremony was organized by the Division of Research and Economic Development Office of Technology Transfer. Dr. Damoah was nominated by his colleagues at the MSU physics department regarding his teaching and assigning MSU students to Goddard scientists for internships (2013-2015).

GESTAR congratulates Dr. Damoah on this recognition of his dedication to Morgan students.
