In April 2019, at the National Association of Broadcasters (NAB) convention in Las Vegas, NV, Dan Gallagher, along with Robert Andreoli and John Caldwell, received NASA’s Videographer of the Year award for their work depicting the OSIRIS-REx mission. Launched in September 2016, OSIRIS-REx arrived at asteroid Bennu in December 2018, and will return to Earth with a sample of Bennu in September 2023. View “Arriving at Asteroid Bennu” here.
